"I kind of expected the response to take…"
I kind of expected the response to take a while, and that’s pretty much what happened. They did reply in the end, just not super quickly. So if you’re like me and already assume support can be a bit slow, this will probably feel about right...

"Good gear that’s held up well"
I’ve ordered a handful of things from mec over the last couple years, mostly hiking gear and a rain jacket. The jacket has been dragged through plenty of wet weekends and still looks almost the same, and the zippers haven’t given me any trouble. My day pack gets tossed in the car and knocked around on trails too, and it still hasn’t torn. The prices can feel a bit high sometimes, which is annoying... but considering the stuff I bought has actually lasted, I can’t complain too much. Overall, I’ve been happy with it...

"Feels good buying there"
I do like that MEC seems to put some effort into better materials and fairer sourcing. It makes me feel a little less guilty buying outdoor gear, even though I guess I don’t actually check every detail that closely. The prices can still be kinda high, and some products don’t have as much info as I’d want, but overall I still think they’re a solid choice.

"Stock info was actually right"
I ordered a jacket from MEC after checking the store stock online. i was kind of expecting a inventory to be off, but it was ready for pickup the next day and it was exactly the size they showed. Nice when a website inventory actually matches the real life for once. Made the whole thing easy.

"Honestly Just Really Pleased"
The box felt solid, everything showed up in good shape, and nothing was weird or messy when I opened it. I don’t know, it just gave me a really good feeling overall. Happy with the whole thing...

"Easy jacket exchange"
I had to swap my jacket, and the whole thing went smoothly. The staff were relaxed and easy to deal with, which made it less of a hassle. Nothing overly special, but definitely a good experience overall.

"Easy One-Stop Outdoor Shopping"
Just a heads up, mec has so much outdoor gear that it’s easy to walk in for one thing and leave with a bunch more. I found hiking socks, a stove, and rain pants all in the same place, which made shopping really convenient. Definitely handy, but consider yourself warned if you’re trying not to spend too much.

Ordered it from mec.ca it showed up just like the listing said it would. Size was right. Colour was right. All the little details matched too. Which sounds basic, but with online orders, you never really know until the box is at your door. No odd surprises, no guessing game. Shipping was fine as well. Easy 5 stars from me

"Easy order and on-time delivery"
I ordered a rain jacket from mec.ca and it went smoothly. The delivery showed up right when they said it would, and the tracking was easy enough to follow. The box wasnt all beat up or anything either, which was nice. No real fuss, it just showd up on time and that was that. Happy with it.

"Warranty claim was easy, but I felt a bit dismissed"
MEC did sort out my warranty issue quickly, and the whole process was simple enough. The staff were polite, but I did feel a bit brushed off at times, like they just wanted to move me along. Still, it got handled with no real hassle, so I’m fairly happy with the outcome.

"Order updates were actually really good"
I ordered a few things from mec.ca and, the email updates were solid. Like, I’d get one when it was packed, then shipped, then suddenly it was out for delivery, which was nice because I wasn’t sitting there refreshing anything or trying to figure out where my stuff was. The whole process felt easy, and the emails came when I expected them to. No complaints from me, it all went smoothly

"Wore Out Way Too Fast"
I only used this gear on two hikes before it started wearing out, which was really frustrating. I put in the effort to pack it, carry it, and rely on it out on the trail, only to have it basically give up right away. Feels like a waste of energy and not something I’d trust again.

"Great fit and comfy too"
Well... I ordered a jacket from MEC and the sizing ended up being pretty much spot on. I checked the size chart before ordering, and it matched what I usually wear. It fits comfortably even with a sweater underneath, and there aren’t any weird tight spots. Really happy with how it turned out

I signed up for a membership account on mec and, it was easy enough. The confirmation email took a little while to come through, but once it did, logging in and checking my points was simple. I usually trust my instinct with this kind of thing, and overall it felt smooth and legit.

I bought a jacket and a few smaller things from mec.ca, and the whole process was sorta easy from start to finish. Checkout was simple, my order shipped the next day, and the tracking worked like it should. Everything showed up packed well, and I didn’t run into any issues. Overall, happy with the experience

"Kind of a Confusing Shopping Experience"
Shopping on mec.ca was a bit frustrating. I’m not sure if I was doing something wrong, but the filters kept resetting on me and the pages were loading slowly. I did eventually find what I needed, so that was good, but even the checkout felt kind of clunky and confusing. Not the smoothest experience

the prices are usually fair, especially when there’s a sale. I’ve picked up a few camping things from mec.ca and the quality felt right for what I paid. No real complaints from me.
